What is darkness? Do we fear the dark because we fear the unknown? Or do we fear the night because shadows lurk inside us all? When darkness fills a person's soul, they are said to be evil. Is this true? How much darkness does it take to make a person evil? There is much darkness in my soul. Am I evil? I don't feel evil, I feel only pain. Pain can cause the darkness inside of us, but what we do with that darkness is what makes us evil or not. If we bottle up that darkness and use it to hurt, to bring fear, then we are assuredly evil; but if we use that knowledge of darkness to teach others, to prevent the pain from hurting them, then we are good. Is there a way to get rid of the darkness? Can I come back from the darkness? Can I heal the pain inside of me and make the shadows disappear? I can't do it alone, there is too much pain. I am drowning in the shadows, in the blackness of night, but I reach out my hand. Will you take my hand? Are you strong enough to save me from the darkness?
